Pink Pinwheels Quilt - finally finished

This finish has been a very long time coming.  You might remember I started this all the way back in January 2011 as a de-stashing project.  The after fits and starts, got the top together in October of that year.  I started to straight-line quilt it on the machine, but wasn't happy.  Because the solid pink was such a loose weave, the whole thing was distorting.

So I felt very de-motivated for a while and moved onto other things.  Literally tossed it into the "too hard" basket.  Around August 2012 I was in the right head space to dig it out again.  It took me about 4 months to unpick all the machine quilting  and start again.

Now it's all hand-quilted, and I'm so glad I made the effort.  Well worth it :)
