Baking and Knitting (how else would you want to spend Australia Day???)

Australia Day weekend.  First public holiday of the working year.  Always feels like such a bonus :)

First up - "Nana Rene's" biscuits out of Monday Morning Cooking Club book - yum!!

 

Next up - knitting.  Saw this cute bonnet in this vintage knitting book more than 12 months ago - finally got to make it!

 Looks a bit misshapen when not on the head of a baby, but you get the idea :)
